Grand Rising Family and salute to the Queen, the foundation of this, The Velvet Lane Professionals initiative designed primarily as a guide for Our Sisters and Brothers working on rising higher so we can get up out these streets and start building sanctuaries something like what Black Wall Street and the Black Panther Party of Self Defense started decades ago, or the tribal villages and universities our people having been building since the city of Heliopolis, over 5,000 years ago. Though this initiative is designed primarily for the Ladies that appreciate the effort, energy and artwork that went into its creation, there’s enough enlightenment, empowerment and prudent information here for those of us still trying to climb our ways up out the gutter and as an African proverb says, “if you want to go fast, go alone. Carrying on, conceptually, the Velvet represents the Power of the Pen, and having one’s affairs in order. It’s also in reference to the coat of a Black Panther and the saying that one should rule with “a Velvet Glove for the Iron Fist.” As a Revolutionary I see the power of the people as that iron fist and the Velvet Glove is how we politic in a civilized manner for the benefit of us, The People. As Fred Hampton once said, we are the people, not the pig, and we have to make that distinction.

The Pigs Fred was talking about are the fascist, the MAGA maggots and their corruption, the ignorant ass racist mfs too stupid to realize human is our race, the greedy pieces of shits selling their soul for fortune and fame, the rapist and child molesters shhh people and telling them to stop snitching so these devils can continue exploiting our communities, the human traffickers like Epstein and everyone who has played a role in maintaining the status quo of such evils. In the Art of War, Sun Tzu calls for us to not only know ourselves but to also know our enemies. Everyone who fits into one of those pig categories is not a part of the people but what I call the Bitch Made Brigade and they are unwelcome in our Riverside Revolution. Moving on, the Velvet Lane concept itself is about us putting ourselves in the position to sign our own paychecks (conceptually that is literally the Velvet Lane we are creating) and everything that comes with it. True liberty in this society is tied to financial freedom and as an ex-felon who understood at a young age all of the doors that had been shut to me due to my felony (I was a 16 years old robbing to eat) I knew the only way I could really achieve financial freedom would be if I put myself in a position of ownership where I’d be able to generate independent income wherein I’d be able to write my own checks and so researching the tools necessary to do such became one of the focus points of my independent studies while incarcerated. I’m also blessed to have a Big Brother that challenged me to read at least 1 business book a month while I was in there, which also helped me grow more business minded and ownership oriented as well.

As a Kingdom of God, Business Minded Revolutionary working to fulfill Our Heavenly Fathers purpose for my life on this Earth, I do my best to help those worthy of my time and attention (God’s People) to the best of my ability. In addition to this, I am also currently a single Islamic polygamist, and so a lot of this information was composed with the intention of presenting it to my Queen/s once I found her/them. Lady Velvet being her and the Velvet Lane being a tool or a resource of empowerment that she could use at her own volition, and her leisure, in an effort to help her see the importance of us building our own empire of independence, how to do it and what to expect once we’ve achieved such feats. Something like a wedding gift based on Love, Loyalty and Respect while sharing my vision for our future of empowerment and excellence. I decided to share this information in a more universal manner because I know there’s a lot of ladies out there that need a Man of God in their life and Our Sisters shouldn’t be out here struggling for righteousness or freedom or security alone. (The primary reason Islam allows polygamy in the first place.)

In addition to that, there are a lot of young men out here, dead or in prison because no one really took the time to show them the way around all of the traps in the streets or how to recognize their true enemies. I addressed this to some extent in 27 STARS, a poem I wrote for the youth and the future of humanity, but we will also be using the Velvet Lane as a tool to reach out to them and assist them in overcoming obstacles as well. Within the family, when properly provided for and taken care of, Our Sisters are one of the inspirations that can last for generations. The whole concept of a Gypsy is typically a traveling teaching woman from Egypt. One of the oldest traditions in Africa is using songs and dances as a way of carrying on the beliefs of the tribe. What I’m saying is that in order for us to lift our people up, we have to uplift Our Sisters and in doing that alone, we’ll be lifting humanity up generations at a time. Truth be told it was my Granny that taught me how to walk with God. That’s the same thing Gypsy’s did for entire communities at a time.

These days, many of those with potential to be a High Priestess or a medicine woman that can revive our communities are forced to slave for corporations, or use sex a means of survival instead of ascending to the levels of which Our Heavenly Father created them for. (Created you for, if you’re one of Our Righteous Queens.) This is why an important aspect of the Velvet Lane is to reach out to Our Sisters in the sex industry that have been abused, exploited and/or out there on they own trying to make it alone (struggling for righteousness with no love or support). Most people are familiar with the types of racist, hateful, discriminatory behavior associated with a piece of shit like Hollywood, but few realize just how much worse that translates into the sex industry which in some cases really breaks down to human trafficking. Rather than judging, condemning, or perpetuating the exploitation of Our Sisters, we are using this community outreach tool as a means of meeting them and supporting them where they’re at, while lifting them up and teaching them how to navigate the energies of the earth. Having been a doorman at a strip club in Colorado Springs I have an appreciation for Our Sisters that goes beyond appearances and it’s through those interactions that I realized this Lane was necessary. After working with these Ladies like I did, and getting to know them as the women they are, I got a better understanding of who they are and the ways in which society assumes so much while knowing so little and offering no support to some of the greatest women around. Women who inspire me infinitely. One time for the Lady Velvets of the night coming to the light, Shine on… and I Love you too Baby.

To all the young men who come across this text, understand that that fine ass stripper is more than just a stripper and if you’re interested in her for real you have to be ready for rejection as well. Women are the ones who choose their mates, especially if she’s the bad bad, can have any man she wants type without any of the coercion tactics the cowards use; it means the man she’s actually with is the one she chose and if it ain’t you either step your game up or find somebody else. Don’t be one of those Bitch Made individuals that can’t take no for an answer. Rape is a capital crime in my book and if a woman hits you, like trying to fight you for real or she makes you so mad that you wanna hit her, that’s your indication to walk away and leave that woman alone. The Queen that is actually for you will bring peace, and harmony, inspiration, joy, etc. not anger, chaos and destruction. Your Lady should bring it the best in you, not the worst. That’s a problem you don’t need. Also, wear sweatpants or slacks depending on the dress code, a lot of the Ladies hate dancing on rough jeans and stiff zippers. Dress good, smell good and be direct, if she really fw you you’ll know.

Anyway, I came to be involved in this industry by applying to be a DJ at a local strip club wherein they said they had an abundance of DJS but were looking for a doorman and I needed a job so I took it. As a doorman/ bar tender I witnessed 1st hand the ways in which young ladies would be mesmerized by the fast money and abundance of access coming their way, yet few actually knew how to set their affairs in order financially, especially in terms of being business savvy and/or exploring investment opportunities. Keys like how being an independent contractor with your own LLC as a financial vehicle can not only enhance your ability to make money but also offer you avenues for enhancing your lifestyle as well.

This is why one of the things I used to do while working my shift is talk to The Ladies about the various ways they could create a business and start flipping their money into other legitimate hustles with the potential to become turn key operations or buying and building assets that will create residual incomes. Truth is, once you create and own an incorporation, you can use it to invest in everything from real estate, to restaurants, store fronts, gas stations, etc. and it’s all legal and above board. Independent ownership is the master key to building wealth, which is something a job can never do.

For example, we had a young lady come in who was 18 and was making something like 1,700 a week back in 2018. (a 3 bedroom house in the Springs back then was only around 1,300 a month) She kept buying new outfits, purses, suitcases and accessories etc. and it’s her money, like ultimately she can do whatever she wants to with it but during one of my conversations with her I mentioned the importance of having your affairs together legally. Should she choose to create an incorporation to operate within, all those expenses become tax breaks or write offs. In addition to that, if she used her vehicle to promote her business, that can be a write off as well. Another benefit she’d get by creating a business bank account and depositing her money there, while using the same account to write her own paychecks is she could manage her money and tax deductions perfectly. Add a security deposit box for valuables and she’d by on a professional level when it came to money management and financial forecasting. Perfecting those skills at 18 she’d be able to do what she wanted to with the rest of her life by time she was 21 if only she actually knew how to truly invest in herself and her future beyond appearances and accessories. No shade, in fact it was love that led me to wanna have this conversation with her in the first place. I could see her potential in ways she couldn’t.

These things may seem unimportant but should she choose to buy a house, those pay check stubs will come in handy, not to mention that having a legitimate side business also gives her the opportunity to go make even more money and to build up business credit should she choose to decide to invest in expansion or upgrades in the future. Mapping out your financial goals and doing the math to see what all it’ll take to achieve such goals is the foundational step of financial forecasting and teaching this skill is the primary purpose of Velvet Lane. Some say that the difference between being Rich and being Wealthy is that the Rich have to continue to work to maintain their quality of life while all the Wealthy really have to do is pay their taxes and live off the interest, which is almost an overstatement but passive income doesn’t get taxed at the same rate as active income.

I’m sure everybody kind of knows the story of Adam and Eve, but one of the facts about that story that many people overlook is the fact that Eve was actually named Eve until after the fall. The reason this is significant is because according to the Bible after the fall is when death enters the world and Humanity gets cursed and all of that and the first thing that Adam does is he names the woman Eve, which means living. Now remember that according to the Bible Adam was given dominion over all of the creatures of the earth and he has given the power to name all of them and so when you actually understand the significance of him naming what it was called the woman Eve, right after the fall happened is a spiritual resurrection and it’s the first resurrection of the Bible. Adam used the power God gave him to bring his wife back to life in a cursed and condemned environment surrounded by death, she lives. Amen

PS: EVE is actually the 3rd poem in a series of love poems I’ve named Lady Velvet. The series starts with

This poem is primarily a love poem to all women inspired by research I’ve done into the plight of many women all over the world in terms of just trying to exist equally in society. A lot of cowards have done all they can throughout history to break women down and I wanted to write a poem that would lift them up instead, and so I wrote Inch X Inch. Erotic as it sounds it’s really based off of two concepts. 1, actually trying to measure a woman’s worth in a way that would allow them to see themselves through my eyes. 2. is the locker room speech from Any Given Sunday, where he talks about how life is this game of inches and if your willing to fight for those inches as a team, Victory is assured. I guess I should also say here that in the novel series I’m writing loosely based off of these poems, Lady Velvet’s name is actually Victoria, which means Victory.

Nubian is the second in the series and it’s actually written about my 1st love. I met her way back in 8th grade and we were tight until I caught a case at 16. When I came home 5 years later I looked her up and we reconnected. Amazing Woman, Beautiful Heart. Almost made it work except I wanted children and she didn’t. Still, she inspired this poem and I even said her name in it but that’s between us. In the series this poem represents what it’s like to fall in love, from my perspective.

EVE is the third of the series and is meant to be a blessing. Like when I love or I care about someone, I try to let them know they matter to me and gifts are one of the ways one can do this. This is like the engagement ring, or a surprise trip to Mexico. It’s about getting the Lady’s attention (I called her by her name) and letting her know I’m serious.

La Velvet Voila is the fourth in the series but it’s more about the marriage than the wedding. As a Man of God and a Revolutionary, I find it hard to find a woman who really understands what it’s like to be with a Real One. Weddings are often romanticized but the marriages don’t last because a lot of people refuse to be open and honest about who they are and what they want out of a relationship. So in being single, and looking for wives I kinda wrote this poem like I was crafting one for myself. The one who’ll say yes to me, and everything I’m living for. The Viva. The marriage, not the wedding though I did kiss the bride in my own way. Baby is the 5th poem in the series and it’s kinda an odd fit. It’s more of a song than a poem and it’s kinda like welcoming her home, and showing her the difference between what I represent and what others do. One of the things Good Men deal with on a regular basis is women who think we’re just like their ex or someone else who hurt them and to grow past that we have to set the record straight. I named it Baby because as a Man who has a vision for the future and her choosing to go on this journey with me, I have to level her up in order for her to be able to navigate like I need her to. It’s like birthing her into “a whole new world” like Aladdin but focused on enlightenment. It’s also Baby because that’s typically the next step when two are married and everything I give to her, she’ll be able to invest in our child. That said it’s reality based so even though I was able to capture the concept, it doesn’t really feel like a love poem to me. It’s like I missed the mark, but what I created is truly from the heart so I kept it the way it is. It’s not pretty, but it’s love. 💫
