Peace Family, I am Rakeem Golden Leb El Rivers (AKA Rakeem The Revolutionary) and I am a Community Organizer and Activist who has been fighting to help We The People for almost 20 years. Though I started my community empowerment efforts as a poet and a public speaker, I became a lot more active in the fight for freedom and accountability after Trayvon Martin was murdered by a coward in the state of Florida. Since then I began going to more protest and community actions to help fight the systematic forms of oppression and exploitation in America with more than just words. I also became active in the labor movement as a regional leader for the Organization United at Walmart back in 2013. Since then I’ve been blackballed, threatened, harassed, poisoned and pretty much targeted by Walmart and company in an effort to silence me and break my spirit. After enduring such abuses for the last 13 years with little to no support, I’ve become rather battle worn and exhausted. Though I have continued to fight my hardest, and will continue to do so. I am currently homeless and disabled doing my best to survive with no money and only about $290 a month in good stamps. I am doing this fundraiser in an effort to help me get some stability in my life, so I can revitalize and take this fight for We The People to the next level.
As of now I’ve been disabled since 2021 when I was poisoned by Wannabe Supremacist (Walmarts henchmen who have been gang stalking me as a form of retaliation since I started organizing to form a Labor Union at Walmart back in 2013) at the Salvation Army in Seattle and got diagnosed with h-pylori, which is a stomach disease that can cause ulcers or cancer. The medicine regimen I had to take for the h-pylori took about 6 months for it to be flushed out of my system and then it took about a year for my internal organs and what not to heal.
Due to the fact that I’ve been unable to work since I got sick in 2021 and I have no source of income I’ve been living on the streets and in homeless shelters since then. My most immediate needs are for housing and a vehicle so I can begin door dashing and scouting real estate deals in order to start generating a source of income that will allow me to get back on my feet and earn money legally and independently of the corporate America that tried to crucify me. Not only will this shift help change my life for the better, but eventually it will also offer me the opportunity to be able to help others do the same. (It’s extremely challenging to achieve change while being bound to your oppressors for all of your essential needs, such as housing, food, comfort and security. The more of us that become independent the more able we are to fight for liberty and justice for all) Beyond that I’m also working on raising enough money to get some of the essential equipment needed to perform community outreach and empowerment effectively and on a large scale.
