Inch by Inch
Genesis 2:21-25; So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the ribs and closed up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man. The man said
āThis is now bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh, she shall be called āwomanā for she was taken out of man.ā
For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh. The man and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shameā¦
Where does one began to explore a woman
Is it the beauty of whatās based beneath the skin/ Expressed through their smiles, Held in their eyes like gems,
Timeless
The jewels that never fade/ Swear Iāve looked in some and been amazed/ If eyes canāt lie what can they say/ Then again, what canāt they/ What better way to translate/ The state of her soul and her mind frame/ Who she is, whereās sheās from, Or her plans for the day
Then again, what can her voice say, Can it sing and bring forth thoughts/ Melodies, reserved for the heavenly, or will she say that sheās lost
If ever there was a shrine/ and a compass combined/ It was me/ The Adam to her Eve/ Who would give his everything/ for her to be, Never offend by a rib/ that was meant to protect me/ Baby, is what I call her cause without her it canāt be/ One who brings life, depths that deep
But can she walk in a way that can make my heart leap/ all because sheās walking towards me/ Glory/ If the battle of Troy stood before me/ And in that fight I fail, could she stand for the memory of me/ Lord willing I prevailed/ after Him would she accept the glory, of my story
Iād love to get her that close, beneath all clothes/ and beyond all pores that aint closed/ Be hold her soul/ Blinding, while fully exposed/ Brilliant, as it seems to pose, as opened palace doors to Forevermore/ Then we can only watch, as they seem to close, inch by inch, for few men have held a woman that close/ And because thatās so a woman soul can seem so, Isolated in a world so cold/ Not merely froze, but scared, betrayed and un-choose as equals by those whose hearts hold holes
So I, drop a couple petals from a rose, in the wake of her robes, May God Bless You
Till He takes you home, and thatās to every woman whose essence has ever touched this globe
Youāre Beautiful
Your Brother in Love and Truth
